Thematic Feature

Certain layers have a gray arrow icon between the layer style icon and the layer title. These layers contain thematic features, or subcategories to allow for a more detailed visualization of the layer. If you click on the arrow icon, it will point down and a number of subcategories will appear each with a set symbology. To turn off the thematic map, click on the arrow icon once again.
