Labeling
In order to keep the map from overcrowding, some layers are not labeled automatically when added to the map. To turn on the labels, click the tag icon to the far left of the layer title in the legend. To turn off the labels, click the tag icon one more time. Make sure to be aware of your zoom level within the map window when labeling—if you are zoomed out to the county-level and turn on the labels to a detailed layer, like streets or soils, the map window will appear illegible.
