Any hardcopies utilizing DNR data sets shall clearly indicate their source. If the licensee has modified the data in any way they are obligated to describe the types of modifications they have performed on the hardcopy map. Licensee specifically agrees not to misrepresent DNR data sets, nor to imply that changes they made were approved by DNR.

NA# - the sequential numeric designated for each area by the Division of Natural Heritage. Polygons for those areas which haved been deleted from the coverage. Polygons with a value of zero for this item are inholding areas not included in the boundary. AREA-NAME - the official name of the Natural Area CORR-NP - The number of the Nature Preserve which corresponds to the Natural Area. Not all Natural Areas have a corresponding Nature Preserve. LAST-UPDATE - the date this area boundary was last modified. For many of the areas, this will be the date of the original ARC coverage, 1989. SOURCE - indicates whether the boundary was digitized from quadrangle sheets, from aerial photos, or derived from the 1:100,000 USGS DLG hydrology. The latter was used for stream reaches which had no definite right/left bank boundary. The stream segments were selected from the data base and buffered by 50 feet in order to have them represented in this data set.
